Why Enter

1. If you live in Tennessee or with-in 300 miles (determined by Google Maps to Downtown Camden TN from your locations) you must film in Benton County, TN. ZONE 1.
2. ZONE 2.  Anyone outside of ZONE 1 can still participate with added Rules listed under ENTRY FEES COLUMN. 
3. Teams will choose a Team Leader to represent team and to furnish information required by competition.
4. Team Team Leader must attend meeting at 4 O'Clock held on 10-23-25.  UPM will receive the Information  Package which will include the genre, documents needed for records and details on presenting Project once finished.
5. Deadline to turn Project in will be 5 O'Clock on 10-26-2025.  Any project turned in late will not be accepted.
6. All paper work will be checked at time UPM turns in project.  Team Leader must stay in case of questions.  Once project has been Officially approved, UPM can exit.
7. Sponsors for your team are allowed but must be approved in writing by staff of WFP first.
8. Team Leader must furnish the Team package at sign in meeting.
9. A.I. is allowed but must be in noted in reports.
10. All city, county and state laws must be followed.
11. All participants must be legal citizens of the U.S.
12. Any withdraw prior to 30 days will get a 50% refund.   No refunds after.
13.  All Cast and Crew must be volunteers.
14. Animals can be used but safety of the animal and crew must be strictly adhered too.
15. No limit to the number of cameras uses.
16. Each team must use a Character's name, two props and a Scripted line. The two props will be furnished at check in time at no cost to team.
17. Credits must include WFP 72 Hour Film Festival logo, a thank you to Benton County and all sponsors of the Festival.
18. Each project must include an identifying landmark of Benton County, TN.
19. Total running time must be a minimum of 5 minutes and not to exceed 8 minutes. Timing will start after Team title card and end with last shot.  End credits must be no longer than 1 minute and will not count in running time. 
20. Before film begins there should be 5 seconds of BLACK followed by 5 seconds title card with team name, genre, city and date. 
21. Maximum File size is 2GB.  Each project will be tested on WFP equipment to insure it plays.
22. All work must be original  Project shall not be shared in way prior.  A 45 second trailer is allowed after written approval of WFP.
23. No media turned in shall be returned.
24. Subject to Change and all Decisions by WFP are final.

Entry Fees also covers the cost of the two props that must be used in all entries.

All teams must have their Captain contact us when signing up.

All team Captains must be a Pre-Production meeting held at 4pm on 10-22-2025.

Deadline 8-31-2025 Midnight

No entries will be allowed after the above

date. We need time to ship 

your two props to you.

Rules

1. You must have a Team Captain join the live broadcast at 4pm.10-23-2025.
2. Your deadline to turn in project be email link is the same time as teams in Zone 1.
3. All other rules regarding content apply.

A Industry Mixer will be held on April 3rd, 2026.

FEES FOR BANQUET & MIXER

$20 per person in advance.  (Covers Both) Paid with your entry fee submission is accepted. 

$40 per person if not paid by 2-28-2026 Midnight.

LODGING

$25 per camp or trailer site. Must be paid by 2-28-2026.

Several Hotels with in 30-35 minute drive as well as B&B.

AWARDS

All winners will recive Tophies

at Banquet.

BEST PRODUCER/DIRECTOR

You will be offered the chance to 

work with WFP in the Spring

of 2026 on a Full Feature Film.

Financing furnished and together, as

a team, crew, actors and locations

will be chosen.

$500.  Given out to the team that earns the most points.
